Your result

Enter your measurements to calculate your closest body type, key ratios, and interpretation notes.

How to measure

Measure around the broadest part of the shoulders, the fullest part of the bust or chest, the natural waist, and the fullest part of the hips and seat. Keep the tape level and use the same unit for every field.

How it works

This calculator compares shoulder, bust, waist, and hip proportions, then estimates whether your closest body shape is rectangle, hourglass, pear, apple, or inverted triangle.

Body type descriptions

  • Hourglass: bust and hips are balanced with a clearly smaller waist.
  • Pear: hips are more prominent than the upper body.
  • Apple: the midsection is less sharply defined than bust, shoulders, or hips.
  • Rectangle: shoulders, bust, waist, and hips are relatively even.
  • Inverted triangle: the upper body appears broader than the hips.

FAQ

Is this medical? No. It is for style and fit interpretation only.

Can I use inches or centimeters? Yes. Use one system consistently.

What if I fit more than one type? The result is a closest match, not an absolute label.
